Monitor Database Operations With Redis GUI Tools
Redis is an open source in-memory data structure store, used as a database, cache and message broker. It supports data structures like strings, hashes, lists, sorted sets with range queries, bitmaps and geospatial indexes. Users can also monitor performance metrics, troubleshoot issues and optimize database operations with Redis GUI tools.
Aside from connecting to local or remote Redis servers, these GUIs let users edit and visualize keys. They can add or delete keys, and can easily switch between the sorted or indexed view of data. Users can also use a tree-like explorer to quickly navigate and search through keys. Other features include support for multiple languages, a dark theme, cross-platform compatibility and SSH tunneling.
Users can connect to a remote Redis server or cluster by entering the hostname or IP address, port number and database name. Once connected, a list of all the Redis keys is displayed in the left panel. Users can browse, filter and search these keys by name or type, and can easily edit them by right-clicking on them. The tool lets users manage and connect Redis Streams and Consumer groups, and can assess the server or cluster’s performance using a built-in, best-in-class fault management system.
The software allows users to set up thresholds and anomaly profiles for slow data degradations, and the UI displays information about all commands processed in real-time with detailed debugging capabilities. It offers a unified dashboard for managing different databases, and lets users export or import key-space and memory usage statistics. Users can also monitor and configure a Redis instance to ensure high availability by setting up primary/replica configurations.
